Dude…
The height of the NFL football season is at its almost midway point and we only have one undefeated team left. Obviously it’s the Chiefs. Even though they are on top, there are plenty of teams who are fighting for that top spot. This week had a ton of action and ya boy PC has the latest updates from week 7.
3 peat bound?- The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 28-18 last weekend, improving to 6-0 on the season. Kareem Hunt had 2 touchdowns and Mecole Hardman had a few good runs as well. It was Spag’s defense that really won the game as they forced Brock Purdy to throw 3 interceptions. Patrick Mahomes also gave Malik Mustafa his welcome to the NFL moment by trucking him on his way in for a rushing touchdown. Dad bod and all. Kansas City's offense, while already efficient, is set to receive a significant boost with the addition of DeAndre Hopkins. Acquired from the Tennessee Titans, Hopkins brings veteran experience and elite receiving ability to a Chiefs wideout group that has been struggling with injuries. Paired with Patrick Mahomes, Hopkins is expected to become a key target, adding versatility and reliability to the offense as the team aims for another deep playoff run, possibly a 3 peat.
Detroit topples undefeated Vikings- In the game of the week, the Detroit Lions hit a last second field goal to hand undefeated Vikings team their first L on the season. The Vikings took an early 10-0 lead. Then Jahmyr Gibbs went off and Jared Goff continued his MVP caliber season as they scored 21 unanswered. The Vikings rallied back behind Aaron Jones and a key defensive fumble for a touchdown to put them up one. There was too much time on the clock as Goff and company marched down the field to set up Jake Bates to hit a 44 yard field goal to win the game for Detroit. Goff and the Lions were my preseason favorites to come out of the NFC and they are proving that they have all the capabilities to win it all. Minnesota barley lost, but this shouldn’t be too big of a concern as it was their first loss of the season. Both teams, along with the Packers, will be fighting to win the NFC North. Whoever comes out on top, is my pick to play the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
J-E-T-S Still S-U-C-K- What is up with this franchise? They have a Hall of Fame QB, spent a ton of money on an offensive line, an incredible defense with maybe the best corner in the league, and traded for another great wide receiver. All these ingredients should mean success. However, they find themselves at 2-5, baffling most experts. Aaron… my dear friend… you need to step it up. You should not be losing to shitty Russell Wilson and the Steelers. Especially not by more than 20 points. I think this team is cursed. I feel bad for the Main Man from Way Out West P4 and all of NY Jets nation. GET IT TOGETHER.
