Dude…
No undefeated teams exist in the NFL anymore. All teams have at least 1 loss in the losers column. The NFL is now entering into the best time of the year. The playoff push is starting and teams find themselves if they are looking to get in, or are making mock drafts for the draft. Sorry p4. Here is the latest update on the NFL season!
Bills Hand Chiefs First loss- The Chiefs are still the top dogs, but they definitely have competition at the top. The Buffalo Bills beat the Chiefs 30-21. Josh Allen always seemed to have an answer after the Chiefs shrunk the lead. Allen had 2 touchdowns, 1 in the air and 1 on the ground, with only 1 turnover. James Cook only had 26 yards, but it came with 2 touchdowns. Patrick Mahomes had another “underwhelming” game. He did have 3 touchdowns for just under 200 yards, but threw 2 costly interceptions that turned into points for the Bills. The Chiefs will be fine, as they are back-to-back Super Bowl Champions. The Bills put themselves back in the Super Bowl contenders circle with the big win. Guess what happened the last time the Chiefs lost to the Bills in the regular season… the Bills have all the karma in the world coming their way with the hanging on Kermit the Frog dressed as Patrick in town for all to see. Hopefully they lose in the first round.
Steel City- The Pittsburgh Steelers edged out the Baltimore Ravens 18-16. Despite not scoring any touchdowns, the Steelers relied on Chris Boswell’s six field goals, which tied a franchise record, to secure the win. Russell Wilson showed his veteran poise, connecting consistently with George Pickens, who led the team with eight receptions for 89 yards, including a crucial 37-yard play. On defense, Patrick Queen starred with 10 tackles, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, contributing to Pittsburgh’s ability to stifle Lamar Jackson and the Ravens' potent offense in critical moments. The Steelers have gone from good to great this year with Wilson leading the team. The Steelers are legit contenders, and it’s good to see Steel City all the way back.
The wild NFC West- The NFC West might be the most competitive division in all of football. The 49ers, who were just in the Super Bowl last year, find themselves technically in last place. With a 5-5 record, the 49ers need to kick it into high gear. The other two teams tied at 5-5 are the LA Rams and the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams had the injury bug that led to a few losses. The Seahawks started out hot at 3-0. Then they went on a losing streak and have been 2-5 in their last 7. The Seahawks got a bounce back win beating the Rams. The team that is in first is surprisingly the Arizona Cardinals at 6-4. Murray seems to have put the video games down and is balling out in real life. Marvin Harrison has been a great rookie Wide Receiver for his QB. The NFC Wild West has a lot of unanswered questions about who is going to end up on top. Grab your popcorn folks, this will be the division to watch!
