PC's College Football Takeaway 24-25: Week 6

It was supposed to be a quiet weekend… No good matchups. Get your pumpkin carving done and not worry about football. Yea, that didn’t happen. #1,#4, #9, #10, and #11 all lost. ARE YOU JOKING!!! With a wild weekend, we have to cover this weekend as I try to collect myself for next weekend too! BTW, the Jayhawks lost again on a last minute drive. 1-5.JD GO OFF INTO THE SUNSET AND NEVER RETURN!!

Roll Tide did not Roll- We won against Georgia. We have a high schooler cooking star corner. We’re the #1 team in the nation. Oh we have Vandy and we lost…. Wait what?? Who wrote this script? The Roll Tide of Alabama could not stop the Vandy offense. That’s the beginning of the issue. They allowed the Commodores to run the ball down their throat. They allowed for 166 rushing yards. Pavia was also a threat in the air as he threw for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Allowing 40 points to Vandy is crazy. Not only that, but after Jalen Milroe had a Heisman performance, he kinda shit the bed. He threw for 350 yards, but only 1 touchdown and an interception. When Bama seemed to come back, the Commodores had a punch back. As the final whistle blew, fans rushed the field, took the field goal, and dumped it into the river. The Commodores are rolling, and the Tide need to figure out how they are going to get rolling once again. This could be a huge loss for the seeding of the Crimson Tide come January. 

Tenne-see ya later- Not only did the top seed in the SEC go down, but the second seed did too. Tennessee came into Razorback territory thinking they would get the win. Nico Iamaleava has been playing superb football. However, he struggled against the Razorbacks. He had only 158 yards to show for his efforts. The running game was working, but Arkansas gave the Volunteers a tough-nosed football game. Arkansas’s rushing attack was a well oiled machine. The rushing team ran for 134 and 2 touchdowns. Nico had an opportunity to win the game, but didn’t even get a throw into the end zone. Arkansas tore down the field goal after the win, and Tennessee really needs to win out to make the playoff.

MIZ-GOT SHIT ON- Before I begin… I know Kansas sucks and I have no right to shit on Mizzou. HOWEVER… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. YALL SUCK! NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MY ASSSSSSS!!! The Tigers went into College Station thinking they were going to get another victory. They were sadly disappointed. Now, there were a few questionable calls. I will admit. However, after the catastrophic first quarter, it seemed like the Tigers quit. They got hosed and then seemed to just go through the motions. Brady Cook only had 156 yards. The Aggies of Texas A&M ran over the Tigers defense. The Aggies had 236 yards and 5 touchdowns… 5! That’s a good old fashioned ass whipping that probably took the Tigers straight out of playoff contention, unless they can somehow beat Alabama, Oklahoma, and win out the rest of the season.
