Dude…

We are now in the fantasy football playoffs and only a few short weeks of the regular season! Some teams are rolling, looking towards the playoffs and maybe a Super Bowl. Others are ready for the season to be over so they can start to rebuild. Here are your week 14.

Big Balls Cambell- The Detroit Lions secured a thrilling 34-31 victory over the Green Bay Packers on December 5, 2024, thanks to a bold fourth-down call by coach Dan Campbell. Facing a crucial fourth-and-2 in the final moments, Campbell opted to go for it, and the successful conversion set up Jake Bates' game-winning 35-yard field goal as time expired. Jared Goff threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns, while the Lions converted four of five fourth-down attempts. The defense held Green Bay to 1-for-5 on third downs, sealing Detroit's 11th straight win. The Lions are a ballsy team with the best record in the NFC. A huge threat to the Chiefs reign at the top of the mountain. The Lions arw hungry and should be a huge threat in the playoffs. Don’t count the Packers out just yet. They are a playoff team that just ended up on the wrong side of the win. They are competitive and Green Bay has their QB in Jordan Love. Good game by both sides.

Bills give Chiefs 1 seed- The Rams secured a thrilling 44-42 victory over the Bills in a high-scoring contest marked by standout performances. Puka Nacua was a key figure for Los Angeles, hauling in 12 receptions for a season-high 162 yards and scoring two total touchdowns, including a pivotal 19-yard grab late in the fourth quarter. Kyren Williams also contributed significantly with 87 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Despite Josh Allen's historic outing—completing 22 of 37 passes for 342 yards, rushing for 82 yards, and accounting for six total touchdowns (three passing, three rushing)—the Bills fell short in their comeback attempt.

This loss likely solidified the Chiefs' hold on the AFC's top seed, as the Bills' playoff hopes now hinged on winning out and receiving help. With Kansas City at 12-1 and other AFC contenders faltering, the Chiefs appear poised to secure home-field advantage. The Bills have always faltered in the playoffs. I hope they do again, as they continue to be torn in the side of KC. Hey, maybe another playoff loss will be a consequence for hanging Patrick Mahomes. He is a man above all after all,

Chiefs doinked in- The Kansas City Chiefs edged out the Los Angeles Chargers in dramatic fashion, clinching a 19-17 victory on a last-second field goal that bounced off the upright before going through. With the win, the Chiefs secured their ninth consecutive AFC West title and improved to 12-1 on the season. Patrick Mahomes threw for 210 yards and a touchdown, connecting with DeAndre Hopkins for a key score, but it was kicker Matthew Wright who sealed the game with his unforgettable "doink" field goal as time expired.

Kansas City dominated the first half, leading 13-0 at halftime, before the Chargers surged back with two third-quarter touchdowns from Gus Edwards and Quentin Johnston. Despite the Chiefs' reliance on close finishes—they are 10-0 in one-possession games this season—Mahomes managed the final drive with precision, setting up Wright's game-winner. The Chargers, now 8-5, remain in the playoff hunt but missed a crucial opportunity to challenge the Chiefs' dominance in the division. The Chiefs are still my favorite to win the Super Bowl, as Patrick Mahomes is a deity among normal men. IN PATTY WE TRUST!
