Dude…

Turkey week was last week and we had some good games and some games that were definitely on but my eyes were closed! Coming down to the final weeks of the season. Each team needs to continue to win (or lose if you are a bad team, sorry p4) to make the most of this playoff push. Here is the week 13 notes from this past week!

DA BEARS- In the only good game on Turkey Day. The Bears had one of the biggest debacles of all time. Down 3 and driving, Caleb Williams gets sacked on the Lions 41 yard line. 30 seconds left with 1 timeout. Plenty of time left to get another completion and get well into field goal position. However, Caleb seemed to freak out. Seconds continued to come off the clock. 15 seconds left and you’re expecting Eberflus to call a timeout to calm his rookie QB down. Seconds continue to tick away with no time out. Williams finally gets the ball snapped with 8 seconds left. Williams should’ve snapped it sooner, but doesn’t and has to chuck up a hail mary. The ball falls to the turf with no time left on the clock and the Lions get a turkey blessing and cruise to a win. Hey Bears… WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT???? Are you kidding? Even if you trust Williams, you have a time out. By 15 seconds left you call the time out. BUT NOOOOO,EBERFLUS IS A DUMB ASS.  Monday morning rolls around and Eberflus isn’t the head coach anymore. THANK GOD! He had one of the biggest WTF moments i’ve ever seen, At 4-8, the Bears aren’t playoff bound, but show potential. The Lions only have one loss, and are leading the NFC Conference. Da Bears have a lot of work to do.

VOODOO Chiefs- HAHAHAHAHAHA, honestly, totally should have lost this game. The Chiefs can’t ever blow anyone out. It’s always close. It’s never a convincing win. We play in our competition. The Chiefs end up winning 19-17. All signs pointed to Aiden O’Connell driving the ball down in the final moments to hit a game winning field goal. O’Connell clapped his hands to get everyone set and the center snapped the ball! The ball ends up on the turf and the Chiefs recover. The refs had a fall start on the Chiefs everyone suspects, but they waved it off to give the Chiefs the win. Whatever you think, if it was a penalty, the refs love the Chiefs, O Connell is a terrible quarterback, who cares? Chiefs have the voodoo magic and the football gods want them to win. GIVE ME A BREAK! The Chiefs are good and got another game to go their way. Just because your team sucks doesn’t make the Chiefs a part of voodoo magic or the refs love the Chiefs. Get over yourself, the Chiefs are still a Super Bowl Contender. Deal with it.

Who is the best of them all?- As we wind closer and closer to playoff football, the best teams are separating themselves from the rest of the pack. Only 3 teams stand out to me as true Super Bowl contenders. The first team is you REIGNING, DEFENDING, BACK-TO-BACK SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS. You know, the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, I get it. They haven’t played well this year, they’ve struggled to score. However, they have the King Patrick Mahomes as the QB. That’s the only thing you need. He is a winner. The Chiefs may not have played well, but they found a way to win the game. That’s all you need to be a contender to win it all. Next, The Detroit Lions are a huge threat to the Chiefs reign. Their running back duo in Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery are a lightning and thunder combo that is very difficult to stop. Not to mention their passing threats in Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson WIlliams. A loaded offense is held down with a stingy defense led by Brian Branch. Dan Cambell has the Lions hungry for their first Super Bowl game birth in the history of the franchise. They’re not just coming for a second place, but to win the whole thing. The final threat is the team in Buffalo. The Bills beat the Chiefs fair and square, but Josh Allen is having an MVP season. The loss of Stephon Diggs didn’t hurt the Bills as they drafted Keon Coleman who has been awesome. Not to mention Khalil Shakir who has been the Bills best receiver. The rushing attack of James Cook has been good, but Josh Allen has used his legs as much as his arm. The Bills defense is one of the best in the league. We will see how they do in the playoffs, as they always seem to come up short. This may be the year that they finally break through.
