Fight Card
Main Card
Bantamweight: 20-8-1 Ecuadorian #6 Marlon Chito Vera Vs 20-7 Brazilian Pedro Munhoz
Chito Vera (-190) has already “beat” the challenger of tomorrow night’s main event, but since then their career paths have been in two different directions. With a win against Pedro Munhoz (+160) Chito could be on his way to meet Sean O’Malley again. Pedro on the other hand already got his chance at O’Malley and the fight ended with a NC with an eye poke.
Bantamweight: 14-5-1 American Da’Mon Blackshear Vs 12-2 American Mario Bautista
In another bantamweight bout, Da’Mon Blackshear (+180) Looks to continue his winning streak against Mario Bautista (-205) who is on a winning streak of his own.
UFC veteran Neil Magny (+370) takes on rising star Ian Garry (-490), Magny has been hit or miss over the last couple years. With a 7-3 record in the UFC since 2020 including two submission losses. While Ian Garry is a perfect 5-0 in the UFC with 3 TKOs including his last two fights. Ian is considered “The Future” of the welterweight division.
Women’s Strawweight: 23-3 Chinese C Zhang Weili Vs 13-2-1 Brazilian #5 Amanda Lemos
UFC champion Zhang Weili (-320) has been almost unstoppable in the UFC, with only two losses under the promotion, both to Rose Namajunas. She is one of the greats and looks to keep her title reign against Amanda Lemos (+250). Amanda is a UFC veteran who has finished her last two opponents, by submission and TKO.
Lightweight: 23-3 American C Aljamain Sterling Vs 16-1 American #2 “Suga” Sean O’Malley
Another title fight in the main event of the evening, UFC champion Aljo (-240) fights one of the fastest rising stars in UFC history Suga Sean O’Malley (+200). Aljo has had some great opponents and even after facing backlash with the way he earned the bantamweight title he has shown everyone that he deserves the top spot. O’Malley is one of the slickest strikers in the promotion with incredible speed, power and timing. In his short career he has compiled some of the best UFC highlights you can find. Wrestler versus striker, a tale as old as time.
Card Expectations:
Dana with another great card, PPV masterpiece. With two UFC undisputed belts on the line this is awesome. A Lot of bantamweight fights on this card, with the fall off of Henry Cjuedo and Petr Yan there is a lot of shuffling and we should see some clarity after this Saturday night. My lock of the night is Zhang Weili, an absolute dominant performer. After the Kevin Holland win last PPV we are back in the green, I am now 3-2 with my predictions and there is no slowing down from here.
Welcome to the Suga show.
Enjoy the card and drink responsibly.
