Dude....

Here is my biased, not so biased Wild Card Weekend predictions!!!

Rangers vs. TB

Rays win in 2 games. This is one of those series where most of the pitching will be decent in the early innings. Both of these bullpens are shredded to pieces. The thing that will be fun to watch is the pimp job home runs from both teams. I expect the Rangers to put a lot of runs on the boards, and the Rays as well. But the Rays have the upper hand when it comes to depth on pitching. It will be an exciting series, but the Rays have the World Series on their mind and the Rangers just want to get to the ALDS.

Jays vs. Twins

Twins in 3

Although a lot of people will have the Jays winning this series, the Twins have a more consistent team than the Jays. They Jays have some hitters and good defense, but the holes in their lineup is the reason they are a questionable team to pick. When it comes to pitching the Twins are the best in the AL, truthfully. They have a great bullpen and fantastic starters. It’ll be a challenge for the twins to outhit the Jays on a normal day, but with the defense of the Twins, it should be enough to hold the Jays unless

Vlady becomes a superstar.

Snakes vs. Brewers

Brewers in 3

This will be a fun series, although the D-Backs have a great lineup with fast and powerful players, But the Brewers have a loaded pitching staff. The Brewers are the Twins of the NL. But their hitting is a little more structured than the Twins. They play better and their defense is a lot sounder than Arizona’s. This series should be electric but these teams will have a lot of work to do if they get to the next round.

Fish vs. Phil’s

Phils in 2

I do love the Marlins a lot, but the Phillies have a great big city on their back. They actually a favorite to make the WS this season. But they’ll have to get by the Marlins pitching and sneaky hitting power of the fish. Although Miami has a great lineup, they don’t have the experience the Phillies have.
