1. San Antonio- Victor Wembanyama
Tbh. If this was any other team. I’d have Scoot going first. But since victor fits perfectly in this program. It’s a for sure lock Victor goes first.
2. Hornets- Scoot Henderson
An all-around phenomenal athlete. The guy knows how to play and has some of that NBA G league playmaking skills to get him in the 2 spots. He’s also so freaking massive
3. Portland- Brandon Miller
It’s hard to debate this top 3 but Miller is the least experienced player in this class but he balled out at Alabama. The new age of tall combo guards are taking over.
4. Houston-Amen Thompson
Guard play is needed in Houston and Amen screams developed guard play for Houston. Don’t sleep on him since you probably didn’t watch him play ever. With a young talent in Houston, the team is for sure going to have some upside with Amen.
5. Detroit- Ausar Thompson
I’d be surprised if another college athlete makes it in the top 5. But this forward is experienced and can be an all-around threat at this level.
6. Magic- Cam Witmore
Though his team wasn’t so great this year in college. Cam was balling out. Explosive athlete and I believe can work well with the Magic.
7. Pacers-Taylor Hendricks
Pacers need a big badly. And the best one in the group after Ausar is Hendricks. College experience and some great footwork around the basket.
8. Wizards- Anthony Black
Although he missed most of the year. The kid is a playmaker and a competitor. And he’s a point guard for heaven's sake.
9. Jazz- Bilal Coulibaly
A much-needed forward for the Jazz. A tad thin but with some American fast food this kid will be a Machine sooner than later.
10. Mavericks- Derek Lively
Big time center with some elite skill sets. I think it would be worth it for them because they need a change somewhere.
11. Magic- Grady Dick
A dick pick for the magic would boost their offense tremendously. The kid was a 3 point machine and an underrated athlete. Yes a little raw to the game but the 6’8” guard can ball for sure and shoot the damn 3.
12. Thunder- Jarace Walker
Athletic and big with some great defense. Played on a high-caliber team with great leaders. Can definitely make some splashes on a young Thunder squad.
13. Raptors- Kobe Bufkin
Lefty Southpaw in Toronto is what the Canadians need. No depth in the backcourt so a true scoring guard can take this team a long way.
14. Pelicans-Jordan Hawkins
Watch out for the porn stars Jordon. They will trap you in a sinful atmosphere. If the Pelicans don’t trade up I’d assume they’d settle for an athletic combo guard with some championship blood in him.
Sleeper Pick 21. Brooklyn- Jalen Wilson.
Jalen was an absolute stud at KU. And he had a fantastic role. He was a stud during the season and was putting up Ochai type numbers. He’s more offensively sound and can create shots and hit from the outside. He’s a strong finisher as well as a leader. A sleeper pick for sure but a lot better than most of these projected picks in the later rounds
